OpenAI brings AI for Educators to Portuguese and details Study Mode

OpenAI released its AI for Educators course in Brazilian Portuguese on OpenAI Academy, its free learning platform.

The curriculum is built for teachers in primary, secondary, and higher education. It focuses on how to use AI for planning lessons, drafting activities and assessments, and writing communications, while leaving pedagogical judgment to the educators.

Alongside the course launch, the company detailed Study Mode in ChatGPT, which is designed to guide users through subjects step by step using questions, hints, explanations, and checks for understanding. Developed with teachers, scientists, and pedagogy experts, the feature aims to encourage active participation and reflection on reasoning.

To activate Study Mode, users select Study from the tools menu in ChatGPT. The interface asks questions one at a time, waits for a response, and helps identify areas requiring further review.
