How It Works
Claude reads your prompt along with any attached files or earlier conversation, then writes a response token by token. For harder requests it can reason step by step before answering, and it can call tools mid-task - web search, code execution, file creation. Artifacts and Projects keep generated documents and project context available across a session instead of buried in chat history.

- Claude Opus 5.5 - $4 / $20, for agentic coding and enterprise work
