NVIDIA has announced the release of Phantom Blade Zero with DLSS 4.5, ray tracing, and path tracing, available on GeForce RTX and RTX Spark devices on October 28, 2026. Developed by S-GAME, the title launched on Steam and the Epic Games Store at 7pm PT.

The release integrates NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 features, including Ray Reconstruction and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. On PC configurations, path tracing in the title replaces Unreal Engine's hardware-accelerated ray-traced Lumen Global Illumination with Reservoir-based Spatiotemporal Importance Resampling Global Illumination (ReSTIR GI). According to NVIDIA, ReSTIR GI adds bounced lighting, color bleeding, fine indirect shadowing, and occlusion. Path tracing also enables ray-traced water caustics alongside ray-traced reflections and shadows.

NVIDIA also detailed several other updates across its RTX gaming portfolio:

  • The Blood of Dawnwalker can now be upgraded to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation via the NVIDIA app.
  • NVIDIA RTX Remix 1.6 is available, introducing support for DLSS 3D-Guided Neural Rendering to the Half-Life 2 RTX demo and Portal with RTX, while updating DLSS Ray Reconstruction and DLSS Frame Generation with recent AI models. A beta RTX Remix mod for Minecraft: Java Edition was also released.
  • Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux received updates adding support for DLSS Super Resolution alongside audio and visual upgrades.
  • The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire launched with DLSS Super Resolution support, while the Killing Floor 3: Halloween Horrors update is out now with DLSS integration.
