Gemini 3.7 Flash Lands at Half the Price of 3.6 Flash

Google released Gemini 3.7 Flash in August 2026, about three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash. Google positions it as its "most intelligent workhorse model", aimed at coding, agents, web development and knowledge work.
Pricing
Introductory pricing is $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens, available through 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027 the rates become $1.50 and $7.50. The introductory rate is half what 3.6 Flash cost per million tokens.
Specifications
A 1M-token context window with a 64K maximum output. Thinking is tunable across low, medium and high levels, and the model carries the same built-in tool suite as 3.6 Flash.
The Pro line is still waiting
Google has not given a release date for Gemini 3.5 Pro, which has been repeatedly delayed. That leaves an odd version landscape: the Flash line has run ahead to 3.7 while the Pro flagship on our roster remains Gemini 3.1 Pro, which Google still lists under Preview rather than in its stable line-up.
Separately, Google shut down a set of older image generation models on 17 August 2026.
