Hume AI's Octave text-to-speech model on the Hume API. Octave 1 speaks English and Spanish at about 200 ms latency; Octave 2, in preview, adds nine more languages at about 100 ms. Both clone voices and continue from existing audio, take up to 5,000 characters per utterance, and return MP3, WAV or PCM. Hume states it is sunsetting its TTS and EVI APIs, with access ending on 13 November 2026 at 12:01 a.m. EST and account data deleted afterwards.
