Image GenerationBlack Forest Labs' image generation and editing models, sold pay-as-you-go per image through the BFL API: FLUX.2 [max], [pro] and [flex], plus open-weight [klein] and [dev] models. BFL's newer FLUX 3 family is listed alongside them.
How It Works
You submit a text prompt, and optionally up to 10 reference images, via the API or the web Playground. A diffusion model repeatedly denoises a latent image toward the prompt while attending to the reference images to keep a character, style or product consistent, then outputs up to 4MP resolution. Billing is metered per output megapixel (plus per-megapixel reference-image cost) rather than per request, so a small draft costs less than a full-resolution render.
