SpaceXAI's flagship model, released 21 September 2026 as grok-4.7. xAI describes it as its most capable model for coding and knowledge work, built on a larger base model than Grok 4.6 and trained with a longer reinforcement learning run weighted toward tasks taking many hours. It takes text and image input and returns text, with a 500k token context window and a May 2026 knowledge cutoff; reasoning effort is configurable. Served at the same price as Grok 4.6, $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens, with a fast variant at twice the output speed and twice the price. Available through the Grok API, Grok Build, Cursor, Google Cloud Vertex AI and Microsoft Foundry.
