NVIDIA Launches DSX Ready to Qualify Power and Cooling

NVIDIA has introduced NVIDIA's DSX Ready announcement, a new qualification program designed to help AI factory builders identify products that meet applicable NVIDIA DSX requirements. The program launches on September 21, 2026, and initially focuses on battery energy storage systems and cooling distribution units.

As AI infrastructure expands, power, cooling, water, site, and grid constraints shape what builders can deploy. The NVIDIA DSX AI factory platform unifies AI factory design and operations across compute, networking, power, cooling, facilities, and software. DSX Ready connects that selection process to applicable NVIDIA DSX requirements, giving builders a qualification to look for and giving partners a way to demonstrate that a specific offering meets category requirements.

At launch, DSX Ready includes qualified battery energy storage system solutions from Hitachi Energy, LG Energy Solution, and Tesla. It also includes qualified cooling distribution unit solutions from LG Electronics, LiquidStack, and Vertiv. Additional categories across infrastructure and software will roll out over time.

For battery energy storage system providers, partners run required qualification tests and submit supporting data for NVIDIA review and approval within a defined qualification boundary. Passing qualification does not replace site-level engineering or imply site-level stability. For cooling distribution unit providers, the path uses the cooling distribution unit self-qualification suite to determine whether a specific offering meets applicable NVIDIA functional requirements. Teams can then focus on how qualified offerings fit their site, configuration, and operating needs.
